Currently CTG R&D is looking for senior developers to work on cloud native software for the Telecommunication Industry. The candidate will be part of international team spread across the world. We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join us! In this role, you will be applying advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members\' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. In a typical day as a Technical Lead, you would: Provide direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing new products, enhancements and updates Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. Communicate project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners. Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities. Provide people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development. What you need to bring: If you are/have... Strong experience with Agile methodology and DevOps implementation Certified SAFe Agile Scrum Master with minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master In-depth understanding of all aspects of the software product engineering and excellent cross-team collaboration skills Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution Knowledge of virtualization, cloud technology and micro-services Exposure to telecom/OSS domain is an advantage Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong experience in managing performance of the world class engineering team Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills. Experience managing multiple projects at the same time, recognizing and mitigating risks, and working proactively on contingency plans Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
