The opportunity and team you\'ll be working with:
The Technical Lead is a crucial part of our engineering success. Reporting into the Director of Engineering, you will have a combination of technical and managerial responsibilities. You will guide and mentor the development team, ensuring technical quality and correctness in the project\'s implementation. Our product team is passionate, dedicated, and at the forefront of technology. We prioritize meaningful work, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and tech innovation. This position works a normal shift and is hybrid in Pune.

The expectations of this job:

The candidate will be responsible for driving the development of Randstad RiseSmart\'s innovative Outplacement solution. As a Technical Lead, you will:

  • Drive the development of our innovative Outplacement solution.
  • Ensure on-time, high-quality product deliveries.
  • Navigate through inter-dependencies, risks, and stakeholder engagement, keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Enhance product quality, mentor team members, and maintain high team morale.
  • Be the primary contact for product deliverables, managing scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure efficient and scalable design with the assistance of team members.
  • Enforce code security, performance, and reliability best practices.
  • Engage in hands-on development for core/important features as required.
  • Drive work breakdown, estimations, and define sprint plans.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively at release and sprint levels.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for build, release, and deployment activities.
  • Manage team performance and development.
Experience needed for the Technical Lead:
  • 7+ years of experience with 2 years of experience in leading a development team
  • Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA
  • Experience in delivering useful software and responding to feedback from its users
  • Experience in shipping code that is scalable, maintainable, and well-tested
  • End to end ownership of software/product releases
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile scrum development methodology and associated tools
  • Prior experience in driving improvement initiatives
  • Proven success in building a reliable, fault-tolerant, multi-tenant platform and delivering it to a global user base
  • Deploying and operating services-oriented platforms on AWS infrastructure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge about micro services, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or front-end technologies such as React.js, Angular will be an extra advantage.
  • Core Java skills with working knowledge of Design Patterns
  • Web development experience in Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, REST API
  • Database design and SQL skills
  • UI technologies such JSP, JSTL, AJAX, JQuery, Java Script
  • Familiar with Git, Eclipse or STS, REST Clients
  • Exposure to build using Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
