About Position / Position Summary


IT&DA supply chain is currently looking for Technical Lead to join their team in Bangalore, India.


We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Lead who will be responsible for translating user stories into actionable tasks, guiding team development efforts, conducting code reviews, and ensuring software quality. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Architects and Testers to realize the product roadmap and streamline the development lifecycle using cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality products while staying up to date with industry trends and incorporating new technologies for improved velocity and quality.


This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities :

• Works with Product Managers to translate user stories into action items for Developers/Testers and to iteratively realize the product roadmap in sprints; creates skeleton code and assigns its elaboration to Developers/Testers
• Guides team development efforts, identifying skills necessary for successful product delivery and providing technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development teams.
• Conducts code reviews, ensuring software quality, designing best practices, and aligning team practices with best practices.
• Works with enterprise architecture and security personnel to position the product for long term maintainability and scalability, ensure adherence to EA, and ensure regulatory/policy compliance.
• Uses data to tactically streamline and improve the product development lifecycle through CI/CD pipelining, DevSecOps, IaC, PaC, and other automations as appropriate.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, especially complex issues that span multiple pods.
• Proactively immerses in new technologies and industry trends, bringing useful technologies into the team to improve product development velocity and quality.
• Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation.
• Develop, review, and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners.
• Working with the ERP Functional Analyst colleagues to design and develop solutions.
• Should be able to work with internal and external resources, to develop the functionality and integrate it with other existing SAP and Non-SAP applications.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of 12 years of total IT experience with mastery of, and extensive experience with applying, industry best practices, especially scalable and maintainable architectures; experience troubleshooting complex problems
• Experience of programming in multiple environments and across the technology stack, with broad working knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, etc.), markup languages (HTML, XML, etc.), back-end and front-end frameworks (Ruby, React, Vue, etc.), databases (SQL, noSQL, etc.).
• Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfaces.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment using Azure Devops Suite and Gitlab.
• Mastery of systems design, networking, distributed systems, containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, and DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Extensive experience defining and applying various tranches of software tests (e.g., unit, integration, and regression testing) and automating tests with relevant technologies.
• Experience collaborating with developers using agile development tools and practices.
• Strong leader, collaborator, and team player; natural and enthusiastic mentor
• Strong problem-solving skills with nuanced understanding of business and technical fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

• Cloud Certification in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) Preferred, but not required.
