Technical Leads oversee a group of developers within a Delivery Team and help to manage day-to-day tasks to ensure high levels of productivity, accuracy, and work priority. Technical Leads also have development responsibility. This include the development and maintenance of custom applications as well as the customization of products from software vendors.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\xc2\xb7 Perform deliverable reviews and manage measurement of deliverable quality.\xc2\xb7 Delivery of complex software solutions.\xc2\xb7 Provide technical SME assistance for a given application.\xc2\xb7 Technically leads other developers, including assignment of work.\xc2\xb7 May have line management responsibility for Application Developers.\xc2\xb7 Assists to maintain development standards for design, coding, etc.\xc2\xb7 Perform design activities in collaboration with Architects.\xc2\xb7 Assists in removing impediments to progress.\xc2\xb7 Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.\xc2\xb7 Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.\xc2\xb7 May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team.You will report to the Delivery Lead.QualificationsSHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Complete application changes on-time, to a target level of quality.\xc2\xb7 Outstanding .net development experience, as well as experience working with APIs and webservices.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Azure capabilities, including Azure Service Bus and Topics, Azure Event Hub, Azure Functions and Cosmo DB.\xc2\xb7 Experience of containerization, preferably OpenShift Container Platform.\xc2\xb7 Timely and accurate completion of Software Development Lifecycle deliverables in a manner that is auditable, testable, and maintainable.\xc2\xb7 Consistent implementation with solution design and business specifications.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevSecOps processes would be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Ensure for technical integrity of changes made to systems.\xc2\xb7 Adherence to development governance & SDLC standard.Desired Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Team leadership abilities required, including experience leading and mentoring development professionals.\xc2\xb7 Must be able to set priorities and multi-task.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with IBM iSeries and the Genius insurance product beneficial.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency with multiple application delivery models including Agile, iterative and waterfall.\xc2\xb7 Broad understanding of application development and support technologies.\xc2\xb7 Prior work experience in an insurance or technology field preferred.\xc2\xb7 Adaptable to new/different strategies, programs, technologies, practices, cultures, etc. Comfortable with change, able to easily make transitions.\xc2\xb7 Bachelors degree in the field of computer science, information systems, business management, or a related field preferred.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
