Position Summary The Solution Architect oversees the customer readiness and deployment architecture, security, design, and testing of the integrations & interoperability of software programs, vendor applications, and third-party solutions these duties would include design of solutions in consultation with analysts, designers, and system owners of vendor application systems within Public cloud as well as Private cloud infrastructure. As the subject matter expert, the Technical Architect must understand client requirements and how Landis+Gyr solution fits into these requirements. The ideal candidate will be business-focused, possess strong technical aptitude and excellent client-facing communication skills. Successful candidates will be able to bridge the gap between business and technology, manage client resources, drive technical solutions to timely completion, and identify, analyze, and extract key data from heterogeneous systems. This role works closely with a wide variety of customers from program managers to developers, business units within L+G and the customer\'s team to generate solutions, and helps the customer understand the solution and its impact on business efficiencies. Must have 3-5 years of experience in Customer Deployment Architecture. Key Responsibilities Consult with customers to scope, design, document, implement and deliver end to end solutions to use L+G\'s Products to accomplish their business tasks. Architect new solutions and deliver new services, which meet the needs of the customer and are beneficial to the Landis+Gyr\'s Grid stream Solution in the public cloud as well as private infrastructure. Work directly with customers to create solution designs and resolve any issues related to the solution. A CISSP Certified professional will be preferred who understands how Security is applied at different layers. Strong experience in Identity and Access Management, Cybersecurity, Risk Assessment, and Security Architecture. Experience in Architecture Design, Consulting, Security audits, Security Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Risk and compliance of Cloud Infrastructure and Applications. Advanced knowledge and understanding with latest authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth, RADIUS, etc. Advanced understanding on PKI, Cryptography, HSM (LUNA), SSO, Security, Enterprise Software, and Virtualization. Programming: Strong Scripting knowledge preferred - Python, Shell Contribute to the Smart Grid Services culture by actively participating in the evolution of best practices, tools and processes. Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications. Support integration testing phase of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential problem areas. Build relationships with vendors of utility applications deployed in the Smart Grid Energy Services sector to learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities. Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Develop standards, best practices, patterns, and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiative. Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) Supports and adheres to Company\'s core values. Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
