Candidate Specification

• Degree holder in Engineering, post graduation preferable.
• Around 25+ years or more of relevant experience with leading a team size of 100-150 in a similar role.
• Adequate exposure to Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
• A team player with good communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Professional excellence and IPE: Take active participation. Encourage staff to raise profile and increase visibility by attending forums / workshops, article writing and present papers.
• Proactive and quality oriented, with a client-centric outlook, together with a high sense of accountability.
• A demonstrable track record of meeting exacting technical standards
• Good commercial awareness

• Member of the division Exec committee, the incumbent will lead business on technical delivery. While engaging for enhancing quality (deliverables), supporting engineering department heads for resource competency assessment and professional development:
• He would be responsible for working towards sourcing new technology upgradation, digital tools for productivity enhancement,
• For encouraging advance technology for solutions including BIM, Go Digital, etc, bringing best Industry practices for skill enhancement.
• He will champaign ethos of \xe2\x80\x9cSafety by Design\xe2\x80\x9d,
• Lead competency development for IMO design delivery teams aligned to market expectations and business growth potential
• Focus on Sustainable outcomes and ESG.
• Will support BD team to convince prospective clients (as Proposal inputs) to enhance WIN chances while reviewing discipline teams for improved utilisation,
• Bring in innovative practices to lower costs, interdisciplinary coordination.
• Work closely with Resource head for sourcing best in class talent.

• Provide leadership and direction for sourcing new technology upgration.
• Act as a mentor to the team to do right practice at the first instance
• Engage with respective engineering departments (delivery teams) to assess competency of technical resources. Recommend for acquiring/ enhancing talent through gap analysis. Be a catalyst for value engineering and cost-effective solutions
• Productivity improvement.
• Lead project/s as project principal
• Act as project technical reviewer.
• Identify and flag technical risk on projects.
• Promote standardization and work flow / sequences across the disciplines. Embed new technologies and best practices (processes and systems) into the work Using domain knowledge, innovation, and experience - act as a source for innovative ideas, aggressively push teams to the forefront.
• Attend bid and proposal reviews for high value and critical prospects on invitation.
• Support Industry practice as technical lead.
• Provide leadership on the approach to Sustainability.
