•ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: •



We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect to provide expert technical design support for analysis and development across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Technical Integration Architect with over 12 years of IT experience and more than 8 years in designing and architecting complex solutions using different technologies.



•WHAT YOU WILL DO: •

1. Technical Leadership:

• Drive the functionality into technical solutions while adhering to the architectural foundation established by the Lead Architect.
• Provide support and guidance to other key SITA stakeholders on technical design matters.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of architectural decisions impacting the overall solution.

2. Technical Strategy and Governance:

• Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied consistently across projects and products.
• Contribute to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance.

3. System Design and Implementation:

• Design and architect complex solutions using Java/J2EE frameworks, Spring, Spring MVC, and Apache Camel.
• Utilize JMS, IBM MQ, AMQ, Kafka, and the Big Data ecosystem (e.g., Python, PySpark) for system design.
• Implement Elasticsearch, Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB in system architectures.
• Use Maven, Jenkins, Tomcat, LDAP, AD, Jasper, and Apache in system design with a focus on performance and security concerns.
• Design production deployment models and implement systems for high availability solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve architectural and system design issues.

4. Project Involvement:

• Participate in high-level grooming of requirements and estimation/sizing of tasks.
• Design technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Identify technical debt and implement improvements to enhance product quality.
• Review and optimize system performance.
• Engage in daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospective meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support to teams, addressing queries and clarifications related to products or tasks.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain regular updates of work status in JIRA/ADO.
• Document and communicate architectural decisions and system designs effectively.

6. Travel:

• Be prepared to travel onsite as required by project needs.

•EXPERIENCE: •

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years in designing and architecting complex solutions using Java/J2EE frameworks.
• Proven experience in Spring, Spring MVC, Apache Camel.
• Expertise in system design using JMS, IBM MQ, AMQ, Kafka, and Big Data technologies such as Python and PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Maven, Jenkins, Tomcat, LDAP, AD, Jasper, and Apache.
• Experience in system design with a focus on performance and security.
• Hands-on implementation experience with high availability solutions and troubleshooting.
• Experience in production deployment model design.
