Technical Delivery Manager, will be responsible for the delivery of the development, project leadership, quality, and timely delivery of the project. Client based projects, client liaison, pre-sales, and cross-functional development will fall within the ambit of this positions responsibilities. Reflect 14 to 18 years' of experience with minimum of last three years of having played the role of a Technical Delivery Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify key client business objectives and provide solution recommendations collaborating with client stakeholders (leadership)
• Manage scope of projects from inception to closure across new and established scrum teams. Define, develop and manage implementation schedules across committed timelines.
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks - Ensuring each established scrum teams are set to meet weekly/monthly targets.
• Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
• Identify potential sales opportunities to propel delivery-led-growth initiatives. Support the Sales/offering teams in gathering requirements to develop a solution fit with a strong value proposition.
• Ensure delivery processes are efficient, cost effective while meeting the agreed/established standards.
• Transitioning Capacity-based engagements to a managed-delivery model.
• Employee engagement across different teams.
• Drive staffing needs for new and existing opportunities taping creative venues.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
• Strong Application development origins (preferably Java, Angular, Node or DevOps)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture flows.
• Extensive background in leading and managing development teams delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.
• Delivery Management objectives in Onshore & Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe.
• Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control.
• Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situation with professionalism.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Delivery teams. Handle Operational issues related to the delivery center.
• Become the Single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between the Service Delivery and the Client.
• Drive and coordinate crisis management.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills - influencing change/outcomes across client and in-house stakeholders.
• Must have worked in an Agile methodologies based delivery environment leading successful teams.
• Excellent communication still - spoken and written.
• Engage in regular client cadences.
