You will be part of the local Benelux team. A team with ambitious people, a hands-on mentality and short communication lines. You will be part of the Sales and Marketing team and closely work with the product development and regulatory team. You have preferably a proven track record in (technical) crop management and advisory of crop protection products in agriculture & horticulture. : Positioning of our product portfolio at distributor level (with the Sales Manager and peer Crop Advisors) You are a technical professional in your respective crop disciplines Build relationships with distributors, mainly technical advisors of distributors, end users (farmers) & other market stakeholders to support them with technical (product) information and to inform them about our UPL activities Responsibilities and your daily time investment will be a split between customers (distributors & growers), crop and market segment organizations (Food & Value Chain (i.e. trade & processing industry), grower associations, research stations (CROs), etc.) in Belgium and towards the regional UPL organization Be the first contact for technical (product) questions coming from the market and fulfil the demand for (customer) events, open field days & demo trials Flag opportunities & possible future product developments and positionings in crops to the internal UPL organization Initiate & execute pre-marketing and demo field trials (withthe Marketing & Development Manager) for product positioning Develop technical presentations & input (including content) for sales- and marketing plans & communication Deliver input for product campaigns (to be set up and implemented with the Marketing & Development Manager, Sales Manager and peer Crop Advisors) Key Account plan initiation and execution with the Sales Manager and peer Crop Advisors Qualifications and Skills: A profound knowledge of crop protection practice in predominantly Belgium and Luxemburg A background in agriculture and crop protection, preferably the commercialization thereof A network within the Belgian and Luxemburg market of crop protection suppliers (distribution) is considered as a distinct advantage A HBO / WO graduate in the field of agriculture A team player, goal oriented, result driven, entrepreneurial attitude and be able to work well in a large international organization as well as in the leaner Benelux team You are a professional in your working area and you take responsibility for this You should feel comfortable presenting in front of a large group of professionals You are down to earth, have a hands-on mentality and are able to organize your work efficiently You are fluent in speaking and writing in Frenchand you have a reasonable command of speaking and writing in English UPL offers: A dynamic and pleasant work environment, with lots of variation in your day-to-day activities.
