•Responsibilities:•
• •Manage, support, and maintain Linux installed systems.•
• •Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.•
• •Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues.•
• •Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.•
• •Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.•
• •Work with team members to design and implement new solutions.•
• •Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates.•
• •Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.•
• •Install, upgrade, migrate and maintain Linux based systems.•
• •Ensure security of systems and data•
• •Manage system backups, restore, and recovery.•
• •Manage and maintain printers and scanners.•
• •Manage user accounts, groups, and services.•
• •Manage and maintain storage.•
• •Work with users to resolve account/system issues.•
•Qualifications we seek in you!!!•
•Minimum qualifications / Skills•
• •Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field•
• •Good years of experience administering Linux (OEL) (boot process, file systems, network device and protocol configuration, updates, and patches)•
• •Experienced in understanding and remediating security threats.•
•Preferred qualifications / Skills•
• •Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.•
• •Knowledge with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)•
• •Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)•
• •Knowledge with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)•
• •Certifications in Linux and/or VMWare•
