As a Sr. Software Engineer I, you will be a senior technical member of the central engineering team to design high throughput world class services at global scale for our next-generation games. If you like solving complex computing problems, are a passionate team player and excel this is a great opportunity for you.What Would You Do\xe2\x97\x8f You will Architect, develop massively scalable services, solutions, platforms & UI components with stellar performance.\xe2\x97\x8f Provide technology roadmap & direction for platforms, products, and features.\xe2\x97\x8f Improve for simplicity and low maintenance\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with distributed teams and deliver amazing experiences to the players\xe2\x97\x8f Improve technical excellence amongst team members by mentoring\xe2\x97\x8f Lead and support companywide technology initiatives in partnership with other architects\xe2\x97\x8f Provide accurate estimates on deliverables for yourself and help team on the same\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and mitigate technology risks during early stages of development\xe2\x97\x8f Provide architectural guidance and inputs for Quality Assurance, Load/Performance Testing, Capacity Planning.\xe2\x97\x8f Review design & code for adherence to architecture, security compliance and coding standards\xe2\x97\x8f Institutionalize & promote engineering best practices across teams.\xe2\x97\x8f Identify the right choice of tools for solving the problem to minimize time, money and maximise efficiency.\xe2\x97\x8f The last level in the escalation chain for resolving technical issuesMust have Skills\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor of Technology or Engineering from a reputed institute\xe2\x97\x8f 12+ years of experience working in Java, J2EE technologies and 8+ years of experience in building scalable distributed systems using Microservices architecture.\xe2\x97\x8f Command over Spring, Spring Boot, gRPC, Load Balancing, Caching, Message Buses (Kafka etc.), AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and other commonly used tools & techniques for building distributed systems on the cloud.\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying high-volume, high transaction-based, distributed and highly available web applications.\xe2\x97\x8f Hands-on experience in building rich UI applications using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and libraries (such as React, Angular), HTML and CSS.\xe2\x97\x8f Hands on experience using UI tools & testing frameworks\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated ability to architect distributed services on Cloud Platforms using OSS & CNCF standards.\xe2\x97\x8f Strong Understand of microservices & event-driven patterns\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent understanding of object-oriented design patterns and design principles\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases such as RDS, Elasticsearch and Cassandra\xe2\x97\x8f Experience Kafka, Amazon SNS, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.\xe2\x97\x8f Experience DevOps including building CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins/ Gitlab CI & KubernetesDesired Skills\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with EKS, Terraform, Helm\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift.\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in building & deploying web applications using service mesh (Istio) using mesh features.\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in Streaming processing technologies - Kafka Streams, FlinkDon\'t Just Play It - Create It!
