The successful candidate will be part of a cross functional team developing, operating and managing our systems that support planning, accounting and reporting for our Global Functions and the Executive.The opportunityThe incumbent is responsible to support heavy ad hoc reporting needs as well as assist in the creation of recurring reports intended for multiple users supporting a team of analysts, & supervisors; possess complete knowledge of SAP - including navigation of the system, using T codes, Finance Controlling (FICO) expert.Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate in the translation of business requirements to technical reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports/analysis that utilize the underlying data within the firm data warehouse(s).Your key responsibilities

  • Strong SQL skills including knowledge of relational databases (including INSERT, UPDATE, SELECT, LEFT JOIN, RIGHT JOIN, INNER JOIN, PIVOT, UNPIVOT, star schema, snowflake schema, nested/embedded queries, aggregated queries, stored procedures) and related tools (such as Access, SQL Management Studio, Azure Data Studio) (a must)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Fabric including Power BI reporting/modelling, setting up dataflows and gateways, moving data with Azure Data Factory
  • Strong knowledge of SSIS - ability to design, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages with Visual Studio. Experience building SSIS package with multiple source types (Azure, SQL Server, Excel, data cubes). Setting up and scheduling jobs to automate packages
  • Good Experience in creating calculated measures and columns with DAX
  • Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Maps, Waterfall, Heat Maps, and Tree maps etc
  • Experience building and publishing reports with SSRS
  • Knowledge of MDX including knowledge of cube formulas (nice to have)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP - including navigation of the system, using T codes, Finance Controlling (FICO) expert, reconciling subledger detail to leading ledger
  • Strong Excel formula/pivot knowledge including Match, Index, Sumif, offset, conditionals etc. (again a must)
  • Basic accounting knowledge and experience in financial reporting and database skills
  • Planning, budgeting and reporting experience would be an added advantage
  • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports/analysis, created from potentially multiple data sources
  • Develop new reports/analysis in various tools
  • Implement enhancements to existing Reports/Analysis
  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed
  • Perform sufficient data validation to ensure accuracy

  • MSBI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) - SSIS being most important
  • Visual Studio
  • MS Fabric/Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills (SSMS, Azure Data Studio)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP - FICO
  • Knowledge of excel macros (VBA)
  • Strong Power Apps Technology
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • 2 years + of working in a relational database environment (SQL Server), involving writing queries and analyzing data
  • Experience with reporting concepts and tasks (operational or functionally) as well as preparing and presenting information to end users in different formats
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
