Technical Account Manager

About the Job:
Mission of the Technical Account Manager (TAM) is to be the designated technical point of contact, supporting and partnering with our top-tier strategic customers. You will develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, understand customers' businesses, and develop strategic roadmaps. As a TAM, you will be a technical product expert, familiar with customers' implementations and Vendasta technologies.
Your Impact:
• Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand customers' businesses and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Foster long-term user relationships to grow loyalty to Vendasta solutions.
• Work with customers to resolve complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with customers' and partners' developers, architects, and support personnel to address challenges.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify and drive improvements in our products.
• Work closely with Account Management and other user-facing teams to support users on Vendasta's platform, distinguishing between technical account management and day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with teammates and the Vendasta R&D teams to resolve challenges.
• Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support and Engineering to ensure customer success during critical moments.
• Lead regular reviews with Account Executives (AE) and Account Managers (AM) to identify expansion trends, address process gaps, and solve workflow challenges.
• Accelerate customer adoption of Vendasta, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in integrations and use cases.
• Explain API concepts to Vendasta's largest and most technical customers.
• Engage in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization.
• Troubleshoot Vendasta platform integrations and assist customers' developers in these tasks.
What You Bring to the Table
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level client-facing work, with experience in managing dedicated customer accounts.
• Strong product sense and enthusiasm for solving difficult user-related problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead complex integration conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner.
• Familiarity with APIs and ability to explain API concepts to technical customers.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience interfacing with technical teams.
• Advanced time management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency in developing workflows to increase troubleshooting efficiency.
• Enthusiasm for interacting and collaborating with other departments within Vendasta in your search for the solutions our customers need.
