• Technical Support and Consultation:
• Present technical solutions and product demonstrations to potential customers.
• Explain complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with the engineering or product development team to address technical challenges and customer specifications.
• Product Knowledge and Expertise:
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements.
• Develop and deliver technical training materials for customers and internal teams.
• Proposal and Quote Preparation:
• Prepare and present technical proposals, bids, and quotations to customers.
• Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and are feasible.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Track sales progress, forecast future sales, and report regularly to management.
• Maintain customer records and documentation in CRM software.
• Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar role in a related industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business accounts.
• Skills:
• Strong technical background with an understanding of product specifications, design, and applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable sales pitches.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
