Job Description
Job Title: System Engineer
- Responsible for installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning with proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with LINUX Operating Systems
- Technical Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all assigned Accounts/Products/Tools
- Diagnose and fix known technical problems for the given set of tools/products supported for the region or accounts
- Need to be flexible to work on other platforms than their area of expertise, open to learn new technologies
- Communicate with customer Point-of-Contact/Partner as well as client.
- Open to learn new technologies
- Hands on experience or good knowledge on any of the Linux flavor (Solaris/Linux)
- Networking skills- Basic internetworking knowledge. RHCSA/RHCE/CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience on storage/database (Postgres, MySQL)
- VMware administration experience
- Positive cross functional approach
- Need to be flexible with work timings (24 X 7 support)
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
- BSc/BE/B.Tech/MCA/MTech degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3+ years of related experience in IT industry.
- 1-2 years of experience in Linux System Administration.
- Open to learn new technologies
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
