About The Role This role is an exciting opportunity within the Haleon Digital and Tech Governance, Risk and Compliance organisation who provides services and expertise to enable risk based, compliant, efficient and value driven Tech Delivery. This role involves the management of critical IT controls for in-scope SOX processes and systems. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to testing and control design. This role reports to the Senior Director, Tech Governance, Risk and Compliance. The role will: Perform and support testing of IT General Controls, Automated Controls and key reports for in scope systems to support the SOX Testing strategy. Work closely with process owners to remediate and maintain compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Lead the relationship for Technology with the external auditors to support their testing. Define and maintain the Technology design standards for SOX compliance. Partner with the Finance team to deliver stakeholder updates. Key Responsibilities Leading and managing the planning, execution and reporting of Tech SOX testing for applications, tools and infrastructure Managing the 3rd party Technology SOX testing service Liaising with external auditors during testing phases and ongoing throughout the year Communicating issues noted from testing to key stakeholders in a timely manner Supporting Tech to develop strong remediation plans and address issues in a timely manner Tracking and reporting on outstanding actions relating to SOX findings within Technology and also to the Audit and Risk Committee. Understanding Tech processes, identify risks & controls and define monitoring tests Providing consultation to Technology and Finance to enable SOX compliance for financial applications Essential Qualifications and skills Significant experience in IT general controls (ITGCs) and automated controls testing for Sarbanes Oxley or general IT audit Proven capability in Technology Risk Management and Internal Controls Experience of working with external auditors on control and SOX testing Strong and clear communication skills - verbal and written Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize appropriately Preferred Experience at a Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC) or in-house SOX testing team SAP and infrastructure knowledge and experience Azure Cloud, SailPoint and CyberArk experience CRISC, CISA or other relevant qualification Please save a copy of the job description, as this may be helpful to refer to once the advert closes.
