Job Description


The RTM Tech Platform Lead is responsible for management of the overall Sales IT infrastructure of India in conjunction with the MDS and partner teams. This involves smooth running of Meranet and other systems, smooth integration between them and structured change planning. The role will own the system architecture and plan necessary changes in guidance with the digital strategy to ensure system performance, data security, ease of user adoption and to optimize Total Cost of Ownership. The IT systems overlooked by this role also support our sales teams in Nepal and Bangladesh. Meranet Ecosystem - Ensure uninterrupted running & maintenance of Meranet, a set of secondary sales tracking tools adopted by Mondelez India, spread across 1700+ distributors, handling a business dynamic of 140+ SKUs and a revenue of 1Bn+ USD. Review and revamp Release planning and SDLC by implementing best practices with software partner and lead the architecture evolution planning in line with the Digital Strategy. New Tool Development : There are multiple systems / tools being added to support various capability needs for the sales organization. This role will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing the technical design and solution architecture for all such developments / integrations which pass through the scale-up stage gate. The role will also assist the Transformation lead in solution evaluation of technical design, functionality and product roadmap System Performance, Reliability, BCP & Data Security of the tools outlined in 1 & 2 are the responsibility of this role. Reviewing the SDLC phases, methodologies, data architecture and technical evaluation of solutions enable this role to achieve these objectives. Total Cost of Ownership - Manage budgets and cost allocation for all feature, capability and technology augmentation. Optimize cost of ownership through right technical design and structuring of contracts in conjunction with legal, procurement and MDS teams. Ensure all company policies and processes are followed during the approval of any effort estimate. Collaborative Project Management - This role has a high degree of business interface within the Transformation team and the larger Sales and MDS team. Future ready Sales enablement is the overarching mandate for the Transformation team and this role will support the testing, development and integration of new initiatives, technology-based solutions and analytical tools
