We are currently building our team and now searching for Tech News Website Specialist- (m/f/d) - 100% Remote
Your daily tasks:
- Curate and coordinate the publication of news articles, features, and multimedia content for the technical news website. Work closely with writers, editors, and contributors to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with editorial standards.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to develop editorial calendars, strategize content schedules, and coordinate coverage of key industry events, product launches, and emerging trends. Ensure a diverse and engaging mix of content types to cater to the website\'s audience.
- Develop and execute strategies to promote website content through press releases, media pitches, and outreach campaigns. Leverage social media platforms, industry forums, and relevant channels to increase visibility and drive traffic to the website.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, marketing, and PR, to align content and messaging across different channels and initiatives. Provide support for events, campaigns, and special projects as needed.
You should bring the following:
- Bachelor\'s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in digital publishing, content coordination, and media relations, preferably within the technology sector.
- Strong editorial skills, including copywriting, editing, and content management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with media professionals and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in securing media coverage, managing press events, and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Familiarity with press release distribution platforms, media monitoring tools, and digital analytics.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
- IT affinity (e.g. MS Office, Project management tools, CRM tools)
- Flexible to work remotely with European Time Zone (if required)
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent English Language skills.
