Job Title Tech Lead, Systems Administration : Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers. Support AIX OS to run various software applications. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS. Install and test AIX OS patches. Database refresh Hardware Implementations Develop procedures for AIX security and management. Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit results. Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment. Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware. Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects. Develop data backups and retrieval techniques in case of failure, redundancy, etc. Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues. Perform performance maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Work in late night shift to provide overlap with US working hours. Required Qualifications: Education: B. Tech/MCA Job Related Experience - Essential . 4 to 8 years\' experience on AIX Administration Good knowledge of LPAR, DLPAR, POWERHA, HMC, and LVM Good knowledge of IBM DB2 database. Desirable Knowledge of other flavors of UNIX - HP UX, RHEL Exposure to Banking and Financial Services industry with a good understanding of Banking Products, Services & Procedures. Additional Skills/Knowledge: Strong analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Leadership and mentoring skills.
