You have a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance metrics and goals and provide recommend a result or optimization. They also generate comprehensive performance reports to communicate findings and suggest improvements. A successful Performance Test Engineer stays updated with industry trends, continuously enhances their technical skills, and demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and work efficiently to deliver accurate and reliable performance test results.What You Will Do:

• Analyze system requirements: Review application and system requirements to understand performance objectives and constraints.
• Test planning: Develop a performance test plan, including defining test objectives, test scenarios, workload profiles, and performance metrics.
• Test script development: Create or modify performance test scripts using specialized testing tools or programming languages to simulate user interactions and generate realistic workloads.
• Test execution: Execute performance tests, monitor system resources, collect performance data, and analyze test results to identify bottlenecks or performance issues.
• Performance analysis: Analyze system performance data, metrics, and logs to identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations.
• Test automation: Automate performance test execution and reporting to facilitate regular and regression performance testing.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand application design and performance considerations, provide recommendations, and assist in performance tuning efforts.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed performance test reports, including test findings, analysis, recommendations, and actionable insights.
• Tools and technology research: Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends; evaluate and adopt new tools or techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness of performance testing.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, test scripts, test results, and performance findings.
• Continuous learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in performance testing.

What You Will Need to Have:

• 8+ years of working knowledge and implementations of at least 2 of the following performance testing tool sets: Apache JMeter, HP LoadRunner.
• Automation experience - Solid development experience in Java, Bash scripting or python.
• Create Performance Test scripts and gain approval from key business and IT users and project stakeholders, utilize latest scripting techniques including data parameterization and correlation.
• Experience building and on-prem Linux server administration in Performance environment. Good to have experience in applications servers adminitrations like Weblogic, Websphere, IBM MQ messaging servers.
• Coordinate with Core Application Development, Business Unit, Database, Middleware, and Operations teams to identify performance improvement areas, and promote resolution of issues resulting from test execution and analysis efforts.
• Analyze results and publish meaningful, pragmatic performance test metrics and results (including defects) for action by the application and infrastructure owners for remediation and repair.
• Able to identify the bottleneck by analyzing CPU metrics, database AWR report, applications resource utilization. Able to tune the system performance based on bottleneck.
• Creation of Performance scenarios
• Execution of Performances tests and analyzing the results.
• Identify bottlenecks in the application.
• Collaborating with developers to optimize software performance.
• Should have good communication skills to communicate performance issues to Developers and BU counterparts
