At RoadCast , we are transforming logistics and mobility with our AI-powered automation suite. We are looking for an experienced Tech Manager to lead our technology team, ensuring the delivery of top-notch solutions while aligning with client and business requirements.

Role Overview:

As a Tech Manager , you will oversee the entire technology team, manage projects, and ensure smooth communication across departments. You'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

o Lead, mentor, and manage the entire tech team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

o Allocate tasks efficiently, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines.

o Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, challenges, and updates.

Stakeholder Collaboration

o Attend client meetings to understand technical requirements and provide feasible solutions.

o Communicate client requirements to relevant team members and managers.

o Act as a bridge between clients, management, and the tech team, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Development Oversight

o Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions.

o Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and quality assurance are followed.

o Maintain hands-on involvement in critical coding or troubleshooting tasks.

Project Monitoring

o Keep a comprehensive view of all ongoing projects and ensure their alignment with organizational goals.

o Regularly track and report progress to higher management.

Process Improvement

o Identify gaps in current processes and implement improvements for efficiency and quality.

o Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to integrate them into the team's workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency : Expertise in one or more programming languages/frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Flask, Node.js, Angular, React, etc.

Experience : 5-8 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Team Leadership : Proven experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.

Client Communication : Ability to translate client requirements into actionable tasks for the team.

Project Management : Strong skills in planning, task allocation, and monitoring progress.

Problem-Solving : Analytical mindset with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
