Overview: The Head of Technology will lead and manage the technology team, overseeing the development and implementation of software projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, specifically Python & Flask for backend and JavaScript & Angular for frontend. A strong technical background is essential for effective team guidance and strategic decision-making. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in the fleet management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing technology team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices in software development, code quality, and system architecture, particularly in Python & Flask (backend) and JavaScript & Angular (frontend).
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technology strategy and roadmap, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met.
• Implement and maintain development processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to technology projects and operations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the team and company at the cutting edge of innovation.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role.
• Strong background in software development with hands-on experience in Python & Flask (backend) and JavaScript & Angular (frontend) .
• Must have work experience in the fleet management industry .
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading technical teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Ability to make high-level decisions and influence others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
