Role PurposeSupports in refining and implementing criteria for IT infrastructure in a single domain area.Responsibilities:

• Manage Primary and Standby databases using Data Guard.
• Perform database failover and switchover processes.
• Have experience in configuring Physical, Active Data Guard, and Snapshot standby databases and resolving related issues.
• Apply performance tuning techniques to optimize database performance.
• Possess experience in reorganizing tables and indexes.
• Resolve issues related to query slowness, CPU/RAM utilization, and other performance concerns.
• Install and configure Oracle databases, including versions 19c, 18c, 12c, and 11g.
• Lead and execute database upgrades from older versions to more recent releases.
• Perform database migrations from SUN SOLARIS to the Linux Platform.
• Have experience in performing data refresh using datapump & RMAN.
• Work with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, DMS, and CloudWatch.
• Have experience in migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL in AWS.
• Have experience in UNIX Shell Scripting, automating various DBA activities.
• Have experience in Oracle database clustering and troubleshooting node eviction issues.
• Have experience in using OEM for scheduling backups and troubleshooting issues.
• Have working experience in a 24/5 production environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Experience with Dataguard, RAC, ASM, RMAN and OEM
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience in managing Oracle databases on the AWS cloud platform.
• Familiar with AWS cloud services and proficiency in database migration procedures.
• Proficient in installing and upgrading Oracle databases across versions 19c, 18c, 12c, and 11g.
