Introduction: As Ab Initio developer/technical lead, you will have sound knowledge and experience on various Ab Initio products like GDE, Continuous Flow, Express It, BRE, Metadata Hub, Control Center and various frameworks like MDWP, DQE etc. You will work with various federated teams and guide them in Ab Initio development and implementation. Role will also troubleshoot various problems/errors encountered by federated team while developing Ab Initio based ETL applications. You will have high-level knowledge about other technologies like Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Mainframe etc. It will help to develop efficient Ab Initio code interfacing with those technologies What will you be doing . Analysing the structure of a business to determine how it operates and determine its objectives . Working closely with Business Users to understand the requirements . Designing potential solutions to any problems . Prepare detail functional specification document to map the source data to target data as per the business requirements. . Developing comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels . Document technical lineage of the data from Authoritative sources to the Target data . Writing complex SQL for data analysis. . Guiding developers to implement the data flows. . Analyse the test results as per the test cases and requirements . Work with business to support User Acceptance test. . Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients . What we're looking for: . In-depth functional knowledge of Retail Banking preferable Credit Cards . Working knowledge of Consumer Credit Risk. . Working knowledge of Basel rules and regulations . Excellent research and analytic skills . In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques . Working knowledge of relevant business management principles . Excellent attention to detail . A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage . . Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Must have good knowledge about SQL queries to help analyse the data. . Working knowledge of word processing tools and other relevant software packages Skills that will help you in the role: .
