Research LRL Tech@Lilly unites science with technology to accelerate LRL pipeline and to deliver therapeutic innovations. Our work helps researchers follow the science to understand the disease as well as to identify potential therapies. We achieve this by leveraging technology and platforms to streamline scientific experimentation. We organize and manage high-quality data to drive analysis. We build advanced analytics platforms for scientists to rapidly analyze and visualize data in a scalable and reproducible way. As a Research BRM (Business Relationship Manager), you will be part of the team in LCCI, to bridge and champion the tech transformation in LRL (Lilly Research Laboratories) by coaching and influencing teams cross all tech and business areas. The BRM ensures smooth operation and adoption of Tech@LRL solutions, and is responsible for leading user engagement, sensing and forecasting business needs, and influencing strategies on both tech and LRL sides. As a Leader, work with experts to design, plan, and define data architecture frameworks to help ensure that it meets functional needs and that it performs adequately. As a Business Relationship Manager between MIH (Molecule Innovation Hub) and Tech@LRL, accountable for the success of various tech transformation OCM (Organizational Change Management) efforts including communication, user experience, user adoptions, and community building. Strengthen the trusted partnership between LRL IT and MIH key stakeholders and end users. As a data expert across R&D, enable connection and communications across the broader research organization and influencing short-long range business plans that outpace business and tech evolution. Devise and implement best practices, data strategies and data models to address business partners needs and goals. Work with domain experts and tech team to translate business needs into tech solutions. Own and drive data initiative designs and decisions that are on time and on budget. Understand internal and external landscape to ensure ideas are brought forward and included into strategies and roadmaps. Ensure use of FAIR Data principles to enhance insights and takeaways across R&D Communicate with business partners to identify needs and priorities. Coordinate across data architects, developers, and business partners to create an \'end to end\' view of the entire information landscape and road map. Extensive experience working with key data involved in drug discovery process. Essential Skills 5+ years working experience in Research and Development organizations. Advanced degree or 8+ years\' working experience in life science field such as Chemistry, Biology, or Toxicology (Masters/PhD). Strong understanding of end-to-end drug discovery process. Strong understanding of technologies on data, application development, AI/ML application, business applications of cutting edge technologies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrate ability to translate LRL scientists\' needs and priorities into technical strategies. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with LRL/Scientific partners to create and influence their strategies. Strong track record of effective relationship management skills to influence broadly across organizations and work across levels. Familiar with people, tech, data, and process of LRL/Drug Discovery Team Demonstrated success in driving technology adoption and transformation Demonstrated strong leadership skills in building, developing, and managing cross- functional, global teams effectively.
