Description:Main DutiesCustomer Servicexc2xb7 Ensures the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.xc2xb7 Provides excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.xc2xb7 Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.xc2xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.Financialxc2xb7 Assists to improve productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines.xc2xb7 Assists in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets.xc2xb7 Ensures new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the systemxc2xb7 Assists to ensure that breakages are administered so as to provide constant feedback to the operation as a tool to reduce breakages and losses.Operationalxc2xb7 Ensures that minimum brand standards have been implemented.xc2xb7 Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.xc2xb7 Works closely with other Food and Beverage Managers & Head Chef in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.xc2xb7 Ensures all Food and Beverage equipment and other facilities in the Outlet kitchen are maintained according to the Departmental Operations Manual requirements.xc2xb7 Constantly strives to satisfy the needs of the Outlet by providing the necessary operating equipment.xc2xb7 Strictly adheres to the par stocks for all operating equipment, supplies, inventoried items, and to ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped.xc2xb7 Maintains the cleanliness of the Outlet kitchens and equipment.Operational (continued)xc2xb7 Assists to ensure that the back-of-house areas are kept clean and organised.xc2xb7 Ensures garbage are disposed off properly and ensuring that paper towel dispensers and soap dispensers are filled daily.xc2xb7 Reports any difficulty or problem to Head Chef and Food and Beverage Manager for solution or follow-up actions.xc2xb7 Ensures proper handling of the automatic dishwashing machine that cleans and washes plates, cups, saucers, silverware, glasses and other dishes.xc2xb7 Ensures tableware, chinaware, glassware, and silverware are washed and cleaned as per the established procedures.xc2xb7 Conducts training to improve employeesxe2x80x99 knowledge and skills.xc2xb7 Assists in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.xc2xb7 Handles and reports xe2x80x9cLost and Foundxe2x80x9d items according to the Hotel xe2x80x9cLost and Foundxe2x80x9d procedures.xc2xb7 Assists to ensure that each outlet is supplied with clean and dry operating equipment.xc2xb7 Assists to ensure that the food production areas are supplied with clean and dry kitchen utensils.xc2xb7 Assists to supervise night cleaning contractors in kitchen and back-of-house food and beverage areas.xc2xb7 Assists to ensure that back-of-house cleaning schedules and garbage runs are strictly adhered to and areas are cleaned according to established standards.xc2xb7 Assists to prepare and issue repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the outlet.Personnelxc2xb7 Assist to ensure the punctuality and appearance of all Food and Beverage employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and departmentxe2x80x99s grooming standards.xc2xb7 Assist to maximise the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.xc2xb7 Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.xc2xb7 Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.xc2xb7 Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.xc2xb7 Assists to feedback the results of the Employee Opinion Survey and ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.Other Dutiesxc2xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.xc2xb7 Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.xc2xb7 Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.xc2xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.xc2xb7 Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.xc2xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.xc2xb7 Responds to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.xc2xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.I have read this and fully understand
