Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader for Order Management to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ERP and proven leadership capabilities. This role ensures customer satisfaction through efficient order processing and seamless communication with customers, field sales representatives and business partners. The function of the Team Leader of Sales and Service Operations is to support the Sales Force with processing all order-related customer inquiries within the framework and in compliance with the company's processes.
Reporting to Director -Service and Business Operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage purchase order information (POI) via SFDC.
• Create timely sales orders in SAP following technical and commercial clarification.
• Issue PI and OC in compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) regulations.
• Communicate effectively with subsidiaries, trading partners, and customers regarding order content, deadlines, and any necessary postponements.
• Collaborate with master data, export control, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Create and apply for export documents, permits for international processing (L/C, Carnet, etc.), and internal approval documents (compliance).
• Archive all order-related documents meticulously.
• Process customer and order-specific data for reporting purposes.
• Lead a team of order management associates and specialists, ensuring their development and productivity.
• Review the use of sales tools (e.g., CRM "Sales Force", SAP) and monitor the team's KPIs.
• Develop and implement training and development plans for all team members.
• Provide reliable support for Sales Operations and OM staff in export control and compliance checks.
• Represent the organisation in meetings and cross-departmental projects (e.g., ISM, QM, Compliance).
• Increase team productivity through Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuring workload balance.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturing locations and Field Sales to support customer needs.
• Develop and maintain a structured approach to backlog management, working with various manufacturing locations.
• Drive administrative error reduction through formal problem-solving tools.
• Attend and actively participate in Order Management team meetings, driving action plans.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP ERP.
• Proven experience in order management and leading a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various departments.
• High standard of quality and attention to detail to meet policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and export documentation processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive error-reduction initiatives.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business trips.




Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Com/M. Com/MBA/BBA or any relevant qualification
• More than five-seven years of working experience in order-admin leadership role
• Experience in sales operations-related jobs.
• Experience with international business is of benefit.
• Sense of quality and details.
• Solution-oriented and process-driven.
• Ability to analyse and resolve problems before escalating to the next level
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Experience in OTC domain, operating SAP and CRM (SFDC), preferably order management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organised and methodical with good attention to detail.
• Language: English
• Preferably previous experience in a multinational company.
