Job Description


The Assistant Manager, Rich Media is expected to lead the Rich Media team, providing effectiveguidance on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating teammembers regularly.As a team leader, you will be the contact point for the rich media team members, so your communicationskills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operationsand effective collaboration. Leads the day-to-day production operations of the Rich Media team;organizing workflow, providing long-term goals, short-term goals and objectives with a focus on Linear,Video On Demand and Streaming Video Catalogs. Establishing follow-up and evaluation of proceduresto increase efficiency and quality.Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the rich media team to achieve thegoals set out by the business. The candidate must be willing to work in shift operations and duringholidays.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the organization and implementation of workflow and team tasks in the most efficient
  • manner relative to cost, time and accuracy; provide prioritization guidance of work assignments
  • Maintain content quality standards within the Content databases
  • Maintain workload requirements and informs managers, department seniors, staff and relevant parties of deadline changes, new requirements and client status changes
  • Monitor daily/weekly reports, plus others as needed, to ensure completeness of the data we\'re
  • providing
  • Resolve and respond to queries from data sources and clients regarding our policies and products
  • Support the maintenance of an organized system of archiving photos and tracking metadata
  • Analyze, develop and recommend solutions for rich media, procedural, and operational needs to ensure the accuracy of images
  • Provides rich media guidance to staff and other Gracenote departments
  • Execute integration and project activities based on manager direction
  • Work with product, sales, content business engagement and content data partnership teams on
  • new client requests
  • Active team leader, effectively communicates changes/updates to team members
  • Conduct annual and intermittent performance appraisals, reward and coach/counsel team members
  • Develop employees for personal growth opportunities
  • Maintain staffing by recruiting, screening, selecting and overseeing the training of candidates
  • Lead and facilitate initiatives around employee engagement
  • Ability to participate in the on-call process
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Candidate must be proficient in reading/understanding/writing in English.
  • 2+ years of team management work experience.
  • Experience in working with global stakeholders and clients
  • Proven record of delivering quality results on time
  • Uses logic to analyze data and capability to draw conclusions and communicate or provide advice or consultation to people managers and process owners.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and in written communication.
  • Maintain composure and respond appropriately in stressful or crisis situations.
  • Ability to effectively build consensus within the team and among disparate stakeholders
  • Capability to evaluate process performance within an organization and to make recommendations for improvements
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, being able to work with different departments, offices and roles
  • High emotional intelligence to work with and support team members of different levels and experiences and the ability to guide them through challenges
  • The ability to effectively delegate
  • The ability to effectively resolve conflicts
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and research skills
  • Strong technical proficiency (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Project management skills
