Team Leader - Medical Analytics Location - Hyderabad #LI Hybrid About the Role: This role involves team management, via demonstration of strong leadership and role modelling skills, of a defined Regional/CPO/Global BF, Hyderabad Business Analytics Team to enable delivery of customer engagement analytical insights and reports to the Medical/ customer experiences/ MAPs teams worldwide. Key Responsibility . Works closely together with the Business Analytics Group Lead to shape and develop the Novartis Business Analytics function and address evolving business and customer needs. . Supports team and delivers own individual contribution (60:40 ratio) . Work towards developing functional capabilities of improved projects. . Deep functional knowledge of medical affairs strategies and ability to consult collaborators in driving brand marketing strategies, running data driven analytics and generating insights. . Strong understanding of MSL Analytics, Clinical Trials data, MEEP, Medical information, MSL notes or Filed Notes . Experienced in creating impactful presentation and persuasively communicating to senior collaborators. . Grooms and develops talent, implements succession planning and mentor associates for higher responsibilities. . Conducts performance appraisal of team members and lead the training needs of the group. Provides input into the budget process (for local India viewpoint) and ensure ongoing detailed cost reporting in line with the global and local policies / requirements. Overall demonstrated ability of 8+Years, with 4+ years in digital marketing analytics function with a leading pharma company/service provider and at least 2+ years\' experience in leading a team . Past work reflects a track record of operational excellence in Analytics space. . Understanding complexity of working in an offshore . Familiarity with process set-up, quality important metrics and operational . Proactively find opportunities and builds PoCs to initiate discussion with collaborators . Experienced in handling big data using Alteryx, Python, or R . Familiarity with BI platforms - Excel and QlikSense/PowerBI/Tableau . Identifies and resolves operational issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations/solutions to local or global managers/partners manage number of issues to global office. . Works with extended teams (Data Science, DaaS, Competitive Intelligence etc) to leverage the cross-functional alignments. Desirable Requirements: . Leverage and share standard methodologies of project management with other team members. . Effective leadership skills with an ability to manage non-direct reports within a matrix organization.
