Description:Operational\xc2\xb7 Ensures that minimum brand standards have been implemented.\xc2\xb7 Ensures that all Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20 are implemented.\xc2\xb7 Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.\xc2\xb7 Works closely with other Food and Beverage Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.\xc2\xb7 Ensures that Stewarding employees work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of \xe2\x80\x9cWe work through Teams\xe2\x80\x9d.\xc2\xb7 Ensures all Food and Beverage equipment and other facilities in the Outlet kitchen are maintained according to the Departmental Operations Manual requirements.\xc2\xb7 Constantly strives to satisfy the needs of the Outlet by providing the necessary operating equipment.\xc2\xb7 Strictly adheres to the par stocks for all operating equipment, supplies, inventoried items, and to ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped.\xc2\xb7 Maintains the cleanliness of the Outlet kitchens and equipment.\xc2\xb7 Assists to ensure that the back-of-house areas are kept clean and organised.\xc2\xb7 Ensures garbage are disposed off properly and ensuring that paper towel dispensers and soap dispensers are filled daily.\xc2\xb7 Reports any difficulty or problem to Stewarding Manager/ Assistant Manager for solution or follow-up actions.\xc2\xb7 Ensures proper handling of the automatic dishwashing machine that cleans and washes plates, cups, saucers, silverware, glasses and other dishes.\xc2\xb7 Ensures tableware, chinaware, glassware, and silverware are washed and cleaned as per the established procedures.\xc2\xb7 Conducts training to improve employees\xe2\x80\x99 knowledge and skills.\xc2\xb7 Assists in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.\xc2\xb7 Handles and reports \xe2\x80\x9cLost and Found\xe2\x80\x9d items according to the Hotel \xe2\x80\x9cLost and Found\xe2\x80\x9d procedures.\xc2\xb7 Assists to ensure that each outlet is supplied with clean and dry operating equipment.\xc2\xb7 Assists to ensure that the food production areas are supplied with clean and dry kitchen utensils.\xc2\xb7 Assists to supervise night cleaning contractors in kitchen and back-of-house food and beverage areas.\xc2\xb7 Assists to ensure that back-of-house cleaning schedules and garbage runs are strictly adhered to and areas are cleaned according to established standards.\xc2\xb7 Assists to prepare and issue repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the outlet.People\xc2\xb7 Assist to ensure the punctuality and appearance of all Food and Beverage employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department\xe2\x80\x99s grooming standards.\xc2\xb7 Assist to maximise the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.\xc2\xb7 Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.\xc2\xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Culture Characteristics.\xc2\xb7 Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.\xc2\xb7 Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.\xc2\xb7 Assists to feedback the results of the Employee Engagement Survey and ensure that the relevant changes are implemented.Customer Service\xc2\xb7 Ensures the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.\xc2\xb7 Provides excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.\xc2\xb7 Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.\xc2\xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.Personnel\xc2\xb7 Assist to ensure the punctuality and appearance of International.\xc2\xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.\xc2\xb7 Reads the hotel\'s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel\'s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.\xc2\xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.\xc2\xb7 Responds to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.\xc2\xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2+ years of experience in similar position.\xc2\xb7 Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a growth mindset\xc2\xb7 Coach, mentor & Empower T.E.A.M.
