Description:Customer Service\xc2\xb7 Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.\xc2\xb7 Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.\xc2\xb7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.Operational\xc2\xb7 Maintains Engineering store and controls the issues and consumption to ensure the required stock levels are available.\xc2\xb7 Maintains a familiarity of all spare parts to ensure they are neatly stacked in an orderly manner.\xc2\xb7 Prepares purchase request and follows up with Materials Department to ensure timely receipt of materials ordered.\xc2\xb7 Prepare work order as per standard format based on three quotation comparison\xc2\xb7 Keeps accurate records of all materials transactions, through the computerized control system.\xc2\xb7 Receives all materials ordered and ensures proper disbursement and/or storage.\xc2\xb7 Conducts inventory on a monthly basis with timely reports submit to the accounting department.\xc2\xb7 Ensures standardization of materials in inventory by disallowing substitution.\xc2\xb7 Communicates with Engineering Manager to establish par stock and re-order point levels for all consumable items.\xc2\xb7 Establishes trends on commonly used items.\xc2\xb7 Maintains the storeroom in a clean and orderly fashion at all times.\xc2\xb7 Executes Preventive Maintenance plan at guest floor according to schedules.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and organize arrival room check base on checklist.\xc2\xb7 Ensures effective service recovery pertaining to guests\xe2\x80\x99 feedback.\xc2\xb7 Keep Engineering Manager apprised of stock problems to ensure timely response affecting repairs.\xc2\xb7 Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.\xc2\xb7 Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of \xe2\x80\x9cWe work through Teams\xe2\x80\x9d.Personnel\xc2\xb7 Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Culture Characteristics.Other Duties\xc2\xb7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.\xc2\xb7 Exercises responsible behavior at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.\xc2\xb7 Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.\xc2\xb7 Reads the hotel\'s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel\'s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.\xc2\xb7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.\xc2\xb7 Responds to changes in the Engineering function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.\xc2\xb7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2+ years of experience in similar position.\xc2\xb7 Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a growth mindset\xc2\xb7 Coach, mentor & Empower T.E.A.M.
