If you are ready for a new challenge, read on and apply today for a life-changing career.About the DepartmentGlobal Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.The positionAs a Team Lead for MDM within Finance GBS, your primary objective is to achieve targets set jointly by MDM Denmark, focusing on tasks within MDM. In this role, you will:

• Oversee the performance of the Quality team support teams within MDM Finance GBS, including KPI reporting. Demonstrate strong compliance skills, conducting in-depth analysis, challenging existing methods, and driving the implementation of innovative ideas. Coordinate and contribute to accounting processes and projects with significant financial statement impact and exposure.
• Possess a proficient understanding of multiple systems and data flows. Proactively engage with customers of MDM support teams in Finance GBS.
• Serve as a Specialist Customer/Finance/Assets/Treasury Master Data Expert, responsible for managing complex global master data management processes, such as cross-divisional set-ups.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of Customer/Finance/Assets/Treasury master data in the SAP ERP system, aligning with Finance Master Data operational activities and compliance with regulatory requirements, internal regulations, and business objectives.
• Focus on developing functional expertise in Data Quality and other relevant domains, with a deep understanding of master data management/SAP systems and navigation.
• Maintain a basic understanding of Pharma product/Regulatory/Artwork and lifecycle events, ensuring the provision and maintenance of finance, customer, and vendor Master Data setup in accordance with applicable SOPs/WPs.

QualificationsTo be our new Team Lead, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in finance or accounting.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Over 10 years of experience in Master Data Management.
• Proficiency in auditing and managing quality activities related to Customer/Finance/Assets/Treasury Master Data.
• Skilled in performing data profiling and quality assessment of source systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot errors related to master data transitions efficiently.
• Participation in continuous improvement projects within shared services.
• Understanding of the impact of master data processes on downstream and upstream processes (e.g., P2P, R2R, O2C).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance module (FI) and low/no code applications is advantageous.
