Contract type: Full timeLocation: NoidaJOB OVERVIEWThe Admissions Team Leader is responsible for guiding a small team of Admissions Processors in the effective management of student applications. This role ensures the team meets worklist targets and achieves required Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while upholding the highest standards of quality and productivity in the admissions process.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUK Admissions Operations

  • Lead a specific (region specific) UK Assessment Admissions team to ensure the effective processing of student applications in order to meet published Service Level Agreement targets.
  • Lead on the day to day allocation and achievement of work across the team, ensuring maximum flexibility is achieved through training and development activity.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to team members on complex cases.
  • Ensure updated regular reviews of all required documentation, with amendments where necessary, saved on one Note and communicated to the team in a timely manner.
  • Manage escalations and complaints through to resolution.
  • Review and analyse processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality controls, all regulatory and legislative requirements, undertaking quality and control checks including audits on a regular basis.
  • Use outputs from quality and control checks and audits to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and/or further staff training, either on a team or individual basis.
  • Collaborate with other teams across Global Admissions to provide support to the wider Admissions processes as required including designing and maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations.
Leadership
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, driving a high performance and customer focused culture.
  • Undertake regular one-to-one meetings and ensure each team member has objectives and a training / development plan.
  • Facilitate and deliver training where appropriate within Admissions team
  • Motivate and energise others through positive reinforcement.
  • Be an inspirational and positive role model to the team.
  • Ensure regular communication and engagement activities are undertaken across the team
ABOUT YOU
  • Good understanding of Higher Education admission processes
  • Experience of using computerised systems/databases to achieve work goals and tasks.
  • Microsoft Office suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Demonstrable track-record of delivering results in a high-paced and pressurized environment.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Problem solving skills - gathers information about issues before trying to reach and implement a solution. Can handle a wide range of problems within area of responsibility but recognises when to escalate matters to Senior Partner Admissions Manager or Director of Partner Admissions.
  • A strong collaborator who can develop effective relationships across all parts of Admissions and the Study Group matrix structure. Openly shares information with others on a regular basis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrates a growth and continuous improvement mindset - coaches team members to learn new skills and processes and provides timely feedback on performance and quality matters.
  • Resilient, self-motivated and able to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to interpret complex processes correctly and communicate this in a way which ensures the team consistently operate in accordance with expectations
