As a Team Lead--Trade Reconciliations, you will ensure trades, positions, and cash are fully reconciled daily across the firm's asset classes. The individual is responsible for carrying out all processes and controls to maintain strong operational risk and the substantiation of the firm's books and records.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead offshore reconciliations team and provide direction to the team as needed
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Ensure the coverage model is in place to support the needs of the business (including cross-training between team members)
• Be the first point of escalation for the offshore team and responsible for the oversight of daily tasks
• Work closely with the onshore team to deliver the reconciliations team roadmap, including long-term strategy, controls and governance
• Actively contribute to recruitment and hiring into the offshore team
• Develop relationships with internal partners, including Middle Office, Trade Support, Funds Finance and Treasury
• Expertise in running the processes the team performs
• Oversee enhancements to processes and reporting to meet business requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years ofprior working experience as a team lead in the trade and operations domain.
• 5+ years of Prior experience in Cross asset classes such as: FI, FX, Credit, Rates, Exchange Traded Derivatives and Equities is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, different financial products & front to back processes
• Strong Knowledge of experience in operational risk and risk mitigation utilising technology, processes and Controls.
• Have an excellent understanding of hedge fund workflows, including Prime Broker, Clearing House and bilateral relationships.
• Prior experience with tools like Gresham, Murex or TriResolve is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and problem-solving capabilities are desirable.
• Proven experience in process improvement knowledge and techniques is desirable.
• Exceptional organisation skills with an ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work effectively in an entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment.
• Good written word and numerical ability with very strong interpersonal / communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The working hours for this role will be 1pm to 10pm IST.
