About this Role:The Prospecting team partners with leaders across Gartners global sales organization to provide the accurate prospecting data that helps the Sales team to focus on closing deals and increase their NCVI productivity. The team saves the time by serving up more accurate prospecting data through diverse set of prospecting tools.What youll do:

  • Organize and manage the team of 8-9 data specialist
  • Provide the strategic initiatives and recommendations for improvements and systems enhancements of the process
  • Responsible for providing expert support, analysis on the research assignments for prospecting team
  • Should coach the team on the other functions of Prospecting team- such as CRM management, handling of Sales tools mailbox, QC process
  • Use empowerment, trust and other strategies as appropriate to develop and motivate team members
  • Develop a multifaceted rewards system that makes team members excited to show up to work every day and do their best
  • Teach and train team members on various process strategies
  • Manages workflow of the projects and support the managers on day to day requirement
  • Supports team manager and performs management duties in absence of team manager
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Create an environment oriented to open communication, creative thinking, cohesive team effort and workplace trust
  • Ensure objectives are achieved in given time frames, meeting or exceeding support requirements
  • Set priorities and provide team with all necessary business Information to perform their role effectively
  • Develop strong process knowledge within sales operation functions with the goal of incrementally improving the process as the team grows and matures
  • Work with local and headquarters management to obtain necessary resources and support for the team
  • Drive further GSSO expansion in Gurgaon and assist HR/Recruiting in leading the candidate recruitment process
  • Collect success metrics and prepare reports to identify work accomplishments of the team. Coordinate the preparation, presentation, and communication of work-related information to the Manager
What youll need:
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree (MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years working with sales / sales operations organizations and experience with medium-to-large team management responsibilities.
  • Strong management skills; demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, work under pressure and manage to demanding timelines
  • Ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office programs specially in Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proven record of boosting team performance and employee retention rates
  • Naturally optimistic, curious, competitive, goal-oriented and a critical thinker
  • Knowledgeable in key areas including sales operations, sales analysis & reporting
  • Excellent communication, team building and mentoring skills.
  • Enjoys collaborating with others and working cross-functionally
