Qualification

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.



Overall Responsibility

This position requires hands on technical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure a smooth and efficient IT setup from the ground up for new properties .






• Collaborate with project teams to plan, design, and implement the IT infrastructure for the hotel.
• Evaluate and recommend IT vendors for hardware, software, and support services for hotel preopening activities
• Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and networking components.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT teams and Vendors to integrate property management systems, point-of- sale systems, and other essential hotel applications.
• Conduct thorough testing of all IT systems before the hotel's official opening. Address and resolve any issues identified during the testing phase.
• Ensure seamless communication and data flow between various hotel systems.
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits during the pre-opening phase.
• Develop and conduct training programs for hotel staff on the use of IT systems. Provide training materials for end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Properties and handover after all successful setup and testing.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and processes including Network Chart, Asset Inventory


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the pre-opening phase of a hotel.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, Network
• Infrastructure, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good communication English, Hindi
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Basics of networking, security
• Willing to travel as this profile requires extensive travelling.
