About You (Skills & Experience Required) Minimum 9 years of experience developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, SQL Server, and related technologies. Exposure to team management. Exposure to Cloud native technologies and integration patterns. Experience in writing Unit test cases. Good understanding of software development principles, including Distributed System, object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles. Working knowledge of VCNs e.g., GIT, SVN etc Experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and RDS. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular Exposure to Docker, and Linux is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Focused, enthusiastic, motivated, and have the desire to progress by learning, executing, and experimenting. It would be great if you also have: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins Ability to think through a problem at a conceptual level and propose solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Keen desire to learn, stretch, and a never-give-up attitude. Very strong interpersonal skills and an easygoing personality. Highly proactive, result-oriented, and a team player. Ability to stay current with new technology. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through process oriented What will you be doing in this role You will work closely with your agile team for creating high-quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. Develop Strong Architecture and Design using best practices, patterns, and business acumen. Monitor individual employees\' performance. Provide leadership and technical guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Define clear, concise requirements that provide a problem statement and the expected business value of the outcome. Contribute to technology strategy at the product level. Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software. Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence. Collaborate with on-and-off site teams. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in software development About the Team The Technology team supporting Derwent Innovation is primarily based out of Bangalore. Our Tech Stack includes, Angular, Java, Spring, Oracle DB, Postgress, PowerBi, etc. We are in cloud native that includes EC2, S3, etc. Teams are exposed to the world of patent intelligence which relies on being able to navigate and search huge volumes of highly detailed data. Our Technology squads get the chance to focus on a single customer problem/mission. We work collaboratively with our squads to generate solutions and design the technical approaches. We receive a constant stream of customer feedback and KPI results via the product manager.
