As a team lead you will be responsible for:

  • People management for consultants in your team
  • client relationship management for customers being supported by your team
  • hiring for new/replacement positions within consulting team
  • generating reports/presentation covering but not limited to elements like escalations, hiring, certification, training etc.
  • Contribute to long term and short term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team, effective Team Management thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and team morale of the consulting team
  • Manage and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the consulting team.
  • Define & ensure implementation of all key delivery strategies, processes, procedures, guidelines, tools, methods.
  • Maintain high morale, satisfied and productive sub unit staff.
  • Identify Talent within the team & define the development plan for the employee.
  • Improving processes and policies in support of organizations mission, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Having good knowledge on networking, security technologies, multi-vendor network, security solutions, security monitoring and management tools.
  • Formulating skill improvement/ training plans and ensure successful execution of the same.
  • Possessing excellent communication, interpersonal, people Management and Team Management skills.
As a billable consultant, you will work both independently and in partnership with consultants from other regions. You will be engaged in performing or assisting in following activities:
  • Ownership or support on creation of deliverables (Low Level Design, Acceptance Test Plan, Migration scenario)
  • Ownership or support on creation of projects consulting blueprints and boilerplates
  • Liaise directly with customer to obtain all relevant technical information for successful design, order validation & project delivery
  • Support on site or remote migration for complex solutions/environments, as required
  • Position and/or deliver billable consulting work to a partner or end-customer, especially when it facilitates the progression towards, or closure of, a deeper partner relationship or a significant end-customer contract.
  • Acting as pre-sales consultant for some of the organic growth activities as needed.
  • Consistently deliver high quality billable technical service to existing and new clients ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained or improved.
  • Stay abreast of technical, issues, options and advancements within the internetworking industry relevant to the Orange services portfolio.
  • Be recognized as an authority on Orange products and services both internally and externally.
  • Maintain and develop technical specialization and certifications to accommodate growth in Orange services, as well as personal requirements.
  • Contribute to knowledge management through documentation of completed assignments in the form of case studies, author white papers or presentations on technical solutions and services offered by Orange.
  • Participates in projects as part of a project organization respecting cost, quality and time constraints
  • Provide consulting assessments for new and existing customers if needed.
  • Ownership of the technical solution from concept to subsequent implementation.
  • Present technical solutions to partners and their end-customers, both formally and informally, as required.
  • Any other duties as required by Manager
Skill Profile
GroupBox1
  • BSc/BE/BTech in Telecommunication or equivalent
  • Technical certifications (minimum CCNP/CCDP/CCIP level) or equivalent experience
  • Technical certifications (minimum CCNP Security level) or equivalent experience.
  • Checkpoint / Palo Alto / Juniper/Bluecoat / F5 technical certifications would be added advantage
  • CCIE or equivalent is a plus
  • Implementation with enterprise experience in Cisco routing & switching, networking and security firewall ( ASA, Firepower )
  • Knowledge and working experience on Cisco SD-Access Deployment & integration with related components would be added advantage
  • Knowledge and working experience on Cisco Security Products (Firepower ,Client, Content Security Management ) is an added advantage.
  • knowledge of Firewalls \xe2\x80\x93 Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper - added advantage
  • Knowledge of Firewalls \xe2\x80\x93 Checkpoint,Fortinet, Palo Alto,Juniper, Blue Coat, Zscalar (Checkpoint 2, Juniper 1, Fortinet 1, Zscalar 1)
  • Experience on Cisco switches, Routers
  • Experience in network security technologies like ACLs, VPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSEC, GRE etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills with track record of effective experience
  • Excellent team player
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, other language is a plus
  • Presales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge required in Routing and Switching
  • Reasonable business & commercial acumen
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Time management skills
  • Independent self-starter
  • "Can Do\xe2\x80\x9d, customer-focused attitude
  • Professional Experience : Minimum of 7+ years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the Telecom or IT industry, 2 to 3 of which in technology design consulting
