Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Team Lead AppSec Engineer located in Pune. As a Team Lead AppSec Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the application security team and ensuring the security of the software supply chain. Your day-to-day tasks will involve overseeing application security assessments, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security practices.
Qualifications
• A deep understanding of application security principles, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management
• Experience with leading AppSec tools such as Checkmarx, Veracode, or Fortify
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, or Python
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with security teams and developers
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, security code reviews, and develop secure coding guidelines
• Experience in performing threat modeling and staying updated on emerging security threats and trends
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CSSLP are a plus
