ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Global Media Solutions Team holds the responsibility for shaping the company\'s ad strategy and driving revenue growth. They play a crucial role in developing and implementing advertising initiatives, optimizing ad products, and maximizing revenue opportunities. By leveraging their expertise in ad operations, insights, and technologies, the team aims to deliver successful ad campaigns and reporting, effectively meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders while driving the company\'s overall business growth.

The role includes overseeing the team\'s prioritization, workload distribution, and practices, as well as providing training to ensure successful ad campaign setups. Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues, provide guidance, and offer overflow support for Google Ad Manager campaign setups and troubleshooting. Additionally, collaborate on materials, training, and collateral to support the team in delivering successful campaigns and reporting while effectively communicating operational processes and specifications to other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the GSO Ad Trafficking team supporting the GMS Ads Business, reporting into the Manager, GSO Ad Trafficking & Ad Insights.
  • Oversee prioritization, workload distribution, practices and training of the GSO Ad Trafficking Team
  • Ensure the successful delivery of ad campaign set-up for the GMS Ad Product suite, including formats such as: standard display, high impact display, native, video pre-roll, fashion galleries, custom elements, contest landing pages & lead generation, including SFTP protocol.
  • Manage Team of Ad Trafficking Analysts, by attracting & retaining top talent and grow the team\'s skills and approach to ensure your team delivers high quality and accurate work outputs as well as a high level of customer service.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the ad trafficking team to help resolve issues as well as provide clarification and direction
  • Provide overflow support in the set-up of campaigns in Google Ad Manager, loading creative, trafficking ad tags, and managing any issues that arise pertaining to campaign execution
  • Provide yourself & guide your team to QA & troubleshooting support for ad campaigns as well as site checks.
  • Where needed, make recommendations to your manager for process improvements for consideration and provide transparency into approach and process for work outputs.
  • Support ad hoc ad operations requests, including, SFTP setup, emergency traffic requests and analysis of delivery discrepancies
  • Collaborate on the creation of materials, training, and collateral to support the team to deliver successful campaigns & reporting for our business & out clients.
  • Communicate effectively on operational process, tagging, and specs to inform other team members of operational capabilities
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
  • You have 2-3 years of experience working in Ad Operations, required experience with Google Ad Manager
  • Experience coaching, mentoring & training other team members
  • Knowledge of media and the ad technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, HTML, XML, Javascript, and third-party ad tags
  • Operate and manage with a sense of urgency and customer centric perspective
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Keen ability to be detail oriented and organized.
  • You can clearly understand business needs and impact and communicate the importance of an issue or a feature that needs to be implemented for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask, and prioritize work
  • Professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders to find solutions, increase productivity, efficiency and team success.
