The Education Alliance (TEA) is a non-profit organization that warmly welcomes all those who share our passion for providing high-quality education to every child in India. We support state education departments by deploying highly qualified teams that work with state and non-state actors to co-create solutions to improve the quality of education in government schools. We currently operate in five states (Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, and Punjab) and are proud to have a dedicated team of 50+ young professionals.

ABOUT The Project:



Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence (ASOSEs) are choice-based schools for grades 9 to 12 that allow students to specialise in their chosen fields of study. The Government of NCT of Delhi has established Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence in order to cater to students who have a demonstrated interest and aptitude in specific domains. These schools are in the following domains:



- High-End 21st Century Skills


- Performing and Visual Arts

- Humanities

- STEM

- Armed Forces Preparatory School


Who are we looking for?



TEA is hiring Teaching Fellows on the ASOSE project to provide students with an added exposure. The role will help teaching fellows to experience the Delhi education reforms alongside working with some talented students across Grade 9 to 12 in the specialised subject domains. We are looking to hire for the following subjects:


• Coding

• Digital Media and Design

• Music

+ Music Technology and Production

Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Instruction:
• Deliver Engaging Lessons:
+ Deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the enquiry-based learning approach.
+ Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
+ Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Promote Inquiry and Exploration:
+ Encourage students to ask questions, conduct research, and explore topics of interest in depth.
+ Facilitate student-led projects and inquiry-based learning activities.
• Collaborative Learning:
+ Promote teamwork and collaboration through group projects and discussions.
+ Foster a classroom culture where students feel safe to share ideas and learn from each other.
• Practical Application:
+ Conduct hands-on experiments, projects, and activities that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge.
+ Integrate real-world problems and scenarios into the curriculum to enhance practical understanding.
+ Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
• Individualized Support:
+ Identify and support students' individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
+ Develop and implement intervention strategies for students requiring additional assistance.
• Academic Advising:
+ Assist students in setting academic and career goals and provide resources to help them achieve these goals.

Qualifications:
• Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience:
+ Prior teaching experience, preferably in an enquiry-based learning environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments.
• Skills:
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for instruction.
+ Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Salary : 25-60k per month depending on number of classes/sections
