• Curriculum Development and Instruction:
+ Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
+ Develop lesson plans in accordance with school guidelines and curriculum standards.
+ Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
+ Assess and document students' progress, providing regular feedback.
• Classroom Management:
+ Create and maintain a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
+ Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
+ Implement effective discipline strategies to manage student behavior.
• Student Development:
+ Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
+ Identify students' individual learning needs and tailor instructions accordingly.
+ Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to take ownership of their learning.
• Communication and Collaboration:
+ Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about students' progress.
+ Collaborate with colleagues, including co-teachers, specialists, and administrators.
+ Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Administrative Duties:
+ Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
+ Prepare required reports on students and activities.
+ Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional learning communities.
• Professional Growth:
+ Engage in continuous professional development.
+ Stay current with educational best practices, new technologies, and curriculum developments.
