Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our team at a reputable educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Maths and Biochemistry, with experience in special education and laboratory work. Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students, incorporating practical experiments and demonstrations. - Educate students on various scientific concepts, ensuring comprehension and application. - Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs. - Conduct laboratory sessions, guiding students in conducting experiments safely. - Mentor and tutor students to enhance their understanding of Science subjects. - Utilise effective communication skills to explain complex scientific theories in an understandable manner. - Manage student behaviour in the classroom through effective behaviour management strategies. - Conduct proofreading of scientific reports and assignments. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science or related field. - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. - Proven experience in teaching Science subjects, preferably with a focus on Biochemistry. - Strong Maths skills to support teaching scientific principles effectively. - Experience in special education is desirable. - Proficiency in mentoring, tutoring, and laboratory work. - Excellent communication skills to engage students of varying abilities.
