Job Summary:

Our NGO, Indian Women Impact is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics teacher to provide quality education to secondary school students (Classes 6-10) on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching mathematics, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage students in effective learning.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, problem-solving exercises, and practical demonstrations.
• Create a positive and conducive learning environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and examinations.
• Student Support:
• Address individual student needs and provide additional support to those who require assistance.
• Encourage active participation and collaboration among students.
• Motivate students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
• Administrative Duties:
• Prepare and submit lesson plans, attendance records, and other required documentation.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school-related activities as needed.
• Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching mathematics to secondary school students.
• Strong understanding of the secondary school mathematics curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Working Hours:

• Part-time, flexible hours to be determined based on the needs of the school.

Compensation:

• Competitive compensation package based on qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 24 per week
