Computer Science Teacher

Location: Mount Dios International School, opp kala bhairava temple, simhachalam, Old Adavivaram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530028.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons for students.
• Teach topics such as computer basics, MS Office, coding, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), Internet safety, and hardware fundamentals .
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Train students in practical applications, including projects, assignments, and lab activities.
• Maintain and oversee the computer lab to ensure proper functioning of systems, software, and hardware.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
• Guide students in IT-based projects , encouraging creativity, innovation, and logical reasoning.
• Prepare teaching materials, handouts, and digital resources to enhance student learning.
• Integrate technology tools like smart boards, ERP platforms, and online teaching aids into lessons.
• Ensure a safe and disciplined environment in the computer lab and classrooms.
• Stay updated on current technology trends, tools, and programming advancements.
• Collaborate with staff for interdisciplinary projects and IT-driven school activities.
• Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
• Assist in training staff and students on the use of technology tools as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field .
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Computer Teacher or IT Trainer in a school environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or HTML/CSS .
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, operating systems, networking basics, and Internet safety.
• Familiarity with tools like smart boards, ERP systems, and learning management software .
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for technology education.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor computer lab issues and oversee lab maintenance.
