Your work profile

As a Professional in our Global Business Tax Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

• Act as primary escalation point for reviewing invoices on a daily basis or invoices flagged by S2P team for determination of correct withholding across APAC entities
• Perform withholding tax compliance by extracting the data from ERP and withholding tax dashboards and work with external service providers or perform inhouse tax compliance
• Manage withholding tax returns reporting compliance using our in-house withholding tax systems
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations of withholding accounts and perform journal entries for correction of withholding tax including expensing expenses
• Handle questions regarding withholding tax from suppliers
• Work with the S2P team for correction of withholding tax at the source level, identification of cases where withholding tax is deducted at a incorrect rate or not deducted etc


Desired qualifications

• 2-5 yrs of experience in handling withholding tax compliance
• Accounting skills in terms of performing reconciliations
• Expertise in excel, google sheets and basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)


Location and way of working

• Base location: Hyderabad
• This profile involves occasionally travelling to client locations.
