Role Description
The Tax Senior Analyst role involves timely and accurate US TP financial and risk reporting to senior management, regulators, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders, in line with local tax, regulatory and statutory requirements. It will require working closely with finance colleagues, particularly teams who focus on the operational areas of transfer pricing to ensure contemporaneous US TP documentation is in place and readily available.

Your key responsibilities

• Review of US legal entity TP flows (both cross border & intra-US), tracking TP trigger events related to business restructuring and other changes that will impact US TP flows, reviewing MIDs, updating US IGA/Global Schedule inventory logs and coordinating with TP Ops team for information on implementation
• Prepare business specific segmented analysis for quarterly reporting to Americas CFO and annual TP documentation in support of US Tax filings.
• Ensure TP calculation and other supporting files in compliance with US TP regulations is organized and retained in relevant work paper folders prior to US tax filings
• Assist with analysis of Intragroup services and related outstanding US Payables
• Coordinate with offshore teams and summarize invoicing/settlement of outstanding US Payables when it is cleared for payment
• Support the global TP reporting requirements (e.g., BEPS) for the IHC/Americas region
• Achieve efficiencies through automation

Your skills and experience

• 5-7 years experience in Transfer Pricing / Financial Planning & Analysis / Legal entity controllership / Financial Governance & control
• Prior experience of working in Financial Industry/Banking
• Proven experience of working autonomously
• Degree level education
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (CA / MBA Finance / Post-Graduate in Finance)

Essentials:

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), and analytical skills including critical thinking, problem solving and ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
• Risk awareness arising from Intercompany transactions
• Confident in handling large set of numerical information
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power Query)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Good project management skills to track & update multiple topics at the same time

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Financial Industry/Banking.
• Knowledge of Intercompany relationships, such as Transfer Pricing, Inter Unit Clearing and Cost Allocations.
• Knowledge of Base Erosion & Profit Sharing (BEPS) Reporting
• Proficiency on dash-boarding applications viz. QlikView, Tableau, Alteryx etc.
