Job Description


The Operations Manager will be responsible for daily metrics, process compliance, people, process and client interactions in Tax , ADP .This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for US Tax Teams.Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with several leaders across India and US.The role of the teams involves

  • Provide transactional/non transactional and strategic operations Support to the tax teams
  • Provide support for US Sites/Operations using knowledge/expertise
  • Assume line management responsibility of 3-5 Operations Leaders with a Span of about 50-70
  • Lead and implement ADP Core Values across the section and ensure commitment via strict adherence to the same.
  • Accountable for daily operations and deliverables
  • Ability to lead, guide, coach, mentor and lead by examples to Operations Leaders and procurement specialists
  • Serve as the second escalation point within the team and for Internal Clients & Suppliers
  • Work closely with the Quality Team to improve the efficiency, quality and Audit standards are met
  • Manage & develop Operations Leaders, Specialists by effective implementation of career development plans
  • Lead, Motivate & develop team to meet & exceed deliverables.
  • Be Proactive in identifying potential issues/concerns or threats and implement controls to sustain operations
  • Identify and execute plans to eliminate operational inefficiencies using continuous improvement techniques.
  • Create Transition Methodology and ensure work transition happens effectively and seamlessly as per timelines
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

  • Graduate or Post Graduate (MBA) Overall at least 10 yrs. of experience in BPO/ITES with at least 3 yrs. in handling People Leaders/Team Leaders/Asst. Managers
  • Excellent Oral, written Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills
  • Proven skills in leading and coaching people
  • Proven Skills in working with Product / Six Sigma
  • Leadership Skills/ Problem Solving Skills
  • Effective in leading and managing change
