Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of GST returns.
• Understanding overall financial and business operations process - what data is from various sources, and how its flowing into the returns.
• Identify gaps in process, and work with various process owners to fix gaps, establish relevant controls.
• Provide technical input to team while filing GST returns and determining tax positions.
• Represent GEHC entities before GST authorities.
• Gradually, the role is expected to cover overall tax compliance as well.
• Individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years experience.
• Extensive travel will be involved to represent in GST audits across India.
• This role will be an onsite role with office based in Bengaluru.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external.
• Knowledge of Oracle and experience of GST implementation will be an advantage.

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
