• Perform and act as SME day to day Tax activities with required speed and accuracy across various tax process such as VAT, Sales Tax and other

• Follow the documented procedures, understanding of Client processes, active team player with good communication and documentation skills

• Liaise and handle escalation calls and emails from business stakeholders.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious

• Meet/Ensure all the defined service levels agreed

• Ensure that exceptions are captured in SOP and communicated to client

• CA/CPA/MBA/Masters in Accounting/Accounting Graduate with 5-8 years of experience of which 5 years of experience should be in Tax return preparation and review

• Good Knowledge of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax of Australia.

• Good communication skills / good team player;

• Self-motivated and self-directed individual;

• Good Business awareness, Team work, Adaptability, time management

• Good analytical skills and experience on process simplification / transformation.

• Expertise in MS office

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting

• Desirable

User Knowledge of ERP/ Key Financial Applications SAP
